The people we meet in line at the coffee shop, or the ones who pass us by while we walk down the street, the woman screaming at the retail clerk at the grocery store, or the man who sweeps up our dirt along the side of the road–they have a story.
It might not be an interesting story–perhaps it’s simply one you have heard before–but it’s a story. And the story of someone’s life is worth hearing, it’s worth knowing, and it’s worth passing on if for no other reason than for human connection.
What makes each of us unique is the very thing that threads us together. We are a tapestry of beautiful and living art work all woven together on one little island in the heart of Lake Ontario. What brought us all here? What kept us all here? And what do we find magical about this place we call home?
